WATERFORD’S FIRST OCEAN PADDLING CLUB

Metalman Paddlesports Club Waterford (MPSC) is a Caneoing Ireland affiliated club which teaches and engages in the kayak disciplines of Downwind Surfski, Lifesaving Ski, Stand Up Paddling (SUP), Downriver, Marathon and Olympic Sprint kayaking.

The nature of paddling in Waterford is such that the wind speed and direction, tide level, rainfall and sea swell all need to be factored into a location decision, in order to give learners a safe and fulfilling experience. it’s for this reason that while we operate out of Tramore, the club is fully mobile and we are able to take the club skis along to wherever the conditions are best on the day, as well as being able to shuttle for downwind training and racing. 

We will be offering a variety of courses and training programmes over the summer.
